Imatge d'un passadís fosc i temàtic d'un hotel immersiu de terror, amb una porta tancada al fons.
Immersive horror pioneers Climent Vila and Sílvia Mosella have placed Berga on the global map of themed entertainment thanks to the Insomnia Hotel experience, recently honored as the world's fourth best escape room.
The project, developed by Insomnia Corporation, combines accommodation, puzzles, theater, and horror in a six-hour proposal called El secret dels Krugger. This unique experience, located in the former Cal Nen hostel in Berga, was recognized at the international TERPECA awards.

"From the moment you arrive, you are already inside the story. Everything is full of puzzles: to access spaces, to discover the restaurant menu, or even to use the wifi."
Vila and Mosella were pioneers of immersive horror in Spain in 2013. The idea for the hotel emerged in 2021 when they identified the need to offer accommodation that extended the experience for international clients visiting Berguedà.
The international recognition has boosted the project's visibility, with reservations from visitors worldwide made months in advance, turning Berga into a global reference in the sector.

"When they told us we were the fourth best in the world, it was a joy we couldn't imagine. Cities like Paris, London, or New York appeared at the gala, and suddenly Berga shows up. We still find it hard to believe today."
