Antònia Baraldés resigns as manager of Berga Hospital

The Board of Directors of Salut Catalunya Central has accepted the resignation of Antònia Baraldés i Farré as manager of Berga Hospital, a position she held since 2023.

The Board of Directors of Salut Catalunya Central, the public entity attached to the Servei Català de la Salut (CatSalut) that manages the facility, has accepted the resignation of Baraldés, who began her tenure in 2023.
The management of Central Catalonia has immediately initiated the process to select the person who will replace Antònia Baraldés at the helm of the hospital in the capital of Berguedà.

"during this period leading the Hospital, Antònia Baraldés exercised management in a stage of continuity and consolidation of the Salut Catalunya Central project, contributing to the development of the care model of Berga Hospital and coordinated work with the territory."

The Servei Català de la Salut publicly thanked Baraldés for the work performed, commitment, and dedication shown while leading the institution. During her mandate, a new treatment floor was opened and the emergency services at Berga Hospital were renovated.
