The merchants' association of Cardona, UBIC, has successfully closed its annual Christmas campaign, whose main objective was to revitalize the local commercial fabric. The initiative allowed for the distribution of prizes totaling more than 10,000 euros across different prize modalities.
One of the central actions was the raffle carried out using the so-called “lluminetes” (small lights/tickets) in the participating establishments. This method distributed 2,000 euros in shopping vouchers, with prizes ranging from 20 euros up to 500 euros, redeemable exclusively at associated businesses.

Another highlight was the celebration of La Quina (bingo/raffle) on December 28, which gathered nearly 700 people at the Cardona Municipal Pavilion. During this festive event, high-value prizes were raffled, such as 1,500 euros to spend in a single day in Cardona, an iPhone 17 Pro, 1,000 euros for home furnishings, 500 euros in gasoline, and 3,600 euros in UBIC product hampers.
UBIC has given a very positive assessment of the campaign, highlighting both the great public response and the impact generated on local commerce. As a next initiative, the entity is already preparing the Winter Bargain Market (Mercat de la Ganga d’Hivern), which will be held on January 30 and 31 and February 1, aiming to liquidate seasonal stock.
