The Ginkgo association has announced the eighth edition of its solidarity walk in Berga for Sunday, March 15th, aiming to raise vital funds for childhood cancer research.

The event features a six-kilometer circular route through the Serra de Noet, starting at Plaça de la Font del Ros. All proceeds will be donated to Sant Joan de Déu Hospital in Barcelona to support specialized therapies for young patients.

"Childhood cancer often depends on genetic mutations, and we can only reverse this through research that is mostly privately funded."

Andrea Corominas · Health Councilor of Berga City Council
Previous editions have raised nearly 59,000 euros. Local businesses, including bakeries and butchers from Bergacomercial, will provide a hot breakfast for participants. Registration is open until March 11th at the Ginkgo store.
