Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested two individuals, a man and a woman from Berga, as alleged perpetrators in the death of another local resident, whose body was discovered in the Baells reservoir.

The investigation by Mossos d'Esquadra has led to the arrest of a man and a woman, both from the same town as the victim, a Berga resident in his sixties. The lifeless body was discovered on April 15th floating in the Baells reservoir, in Berguedà, tied with a belt.
A citizen walking her dog near the reservoir alerted the authorities upon discovering the corpse. Police have conducted several searches in key locations for the investigation, including an apartment in the old town of Berga where the victim lived.
Although the judicial secrecy imposed by the judge currently prevents full disclosure of case details, the arrests were made this Thursday. It is expected that once the confidentiality measures are lifted, the circumstances surrounding this death can be clarified.
