The race, which will start and finish on Pi i Margall street, in La Creu Alta, will feature a 5 km route designed to be accessible for both running and walking. The organization expects 2,500 participants to fund the entity's work.
The president of Oncolliga Sabadell, Natàlia Català, emphasized that the race aims to convey a message of hope and support. Bib collection will take place at Fira Sabadell on Friday, October 16th, and Saturday, October 17th. As a novelty, this year no prizes will be awarded to the winners; instead, various gifts will be raffled among all participants.
The deputy mayor and Councilor for Sports, Montse González, thanked all collaborators for their involvement and highlighted the solidarity aspect of the €15 registration fee. For her part, the Councilor for Health, Sílvia Garcia, encouraged participation, recalling the importance of supporting those affected by breast cancer.
The Associació Esportiva Mitja Marató Sabadell, a collaborator in the organization, noted the increase in participants and funds raised since the first edition. The foundation's general director, Núria Balcells, stressed that the funds raised will be exclusively allocated to Sabadell for social work, pharmacy aid, and workshops for cancer patients and their families.
