The town of Gironella is set to celebrate its annual Carnival from February 20th to 22nd, strategically choosing a later date than neighboring towns in Berguedà.

The festivities begin on Friday with children's parades through Catalunya Avenue and activities at the Sant Roc residence. The main event will take place on Saturday afternoon with the grand parade featuring local groups and brass bands, followed by a communal dinner and live concerts at Espai El Blat.
The weekend will conclude on Sunday with a cultural performance of the musical La jaula de las locas. This late celebration has become a tradition in Gironella to ensure a high turnout from both locals and visitors from across the region.
