The Berga sports hall will host this weekend the final phase of the Primera Catalana cadet handball league, with the local team as the main protagonist.

The Berga sports hall will host this Saturday and Sunday the final phase of the Primera Catalana cadet handball league. The local team, Handbol Berga's Cadet A, arrives at this event as the leader of its group and with the objective of winning the category championship.
The competition will bring together the top two teams from each group of the Primera Catalana: Berga, Gavà, Granollers, and Cambrils. The semifinals will be played on Saturday: Berga will face Cambrils, while Gavà will play against Granollers. The winners will compete in the grand final on Sunday, with all matches held at the Antoni Sabata sports area in Berga.
The Berga team has had an exceptional season, leading its group undefeated in the first phase and repeating leadership in the second, with only one narrow defeat. This strong performance has allowed them to qualify for the final four, which they will play as hosts.
The first semifinal between Granollers and Gavà will start at 4:00 PM. The second semifinal, featuring Berga, will take place at 6:00 PM.
Additionally, the aleví A (U13 team) of Handbol Berga will also play in the Copa semifinals this Saturday at 4:00 PM in the same sports hall, against Barberà. If they win, they will advance to the final.
Saturday's schedule will conclude with the match of the cadet B team against Handbol Sant Llorenç at 7:30 PM.
