Several forest fires have broken out in the Berguedà and Solsonès regions due to lightning strikes from recent storms, prompting the mobilization of numerous ground and air units.

Overnight storms have brought lightning strikes that have ignited fires in several difficult-to-access wooded areas in the Berguedà and Solsonès regions. One of the fires is located between Vilada and Borredà, in Picancel, where the blaze started in a cleared area.
The Firefighters have deployed four units and a water-bombing helicopter. According to sources from the corps, the area is "quite complicated to reach," but they are receiving assistance from local residents who have shown them a trail that could provide ground access to the fire zone. Specialized personnel have also been airlifted.
Another, more significant fire has broken out in Vall d’Ora, in Navès (Solsonès). Here, the fire is burning intensely, with nine ground units and six aerial units mobilized. As a result of this fire, Trànsit (Traffic) has closed the C-26 in Montmajor and the B-4241 in Castellar del Riu.
The Firefighters reported via social media the mobilization of air and ground resources for several lightning-sparked fires in the province, including locations in Senet (Alta Ribagorça), Abella de la Conca, and Llimiana (Pallars Jussà).
