The Generalitat Firefighters rescued a skier this Sunday, March 1st, at the La Molina ski resort in Alp, after the individual suffered a lower limb injury.

The emergency call was received at 4:16 PM. The accident occurred in the upper part of the resort, specifically between the Comella and Barcelona slopes. Initial assistance was provided by the resort's medical staff and ski patrol.
A medicalized helicopter carrying GRAE (Specialized Action Support Group) units was deployed to the scene. Rescuers stabilized the patient using a vacuum mattress to prevent further injury during transport.
The skier was evacuated using a winch maneuver and flown directly to the Hospital de la Cerdanya for further medical evaluation.
