The Cerdanya Youth Office has organized an intensive, in-person course for the training of children and youth leisure monitors, which will be held in Puigcerdà between June 13 and 19.

This initiative, taking place in both morning and afternoon sessions, primarily aims to prepare participants to work in the leisure sector, equipping them for the organization, animation, and evaluation of educational activities. The training is designed for groups of young people aged between 3 and 18 years, always within the framework of an entity's, project's, or service's general programming.
The course will be taught by the specialized education and leisure school, “Escola lliure el sol”, and will cost 250 € per student. The regional entity emphasizes that this is the only in-person leisure monitor training offered in the Cerdanya region, specifically at the facilities of the Puigcerdà Youth Office.
The course methodology will be experiential, placing participants at the center of the learning process. This approach will allow for a critical and transformative exploration of leisure education. To enroll in this training, interested individuals must be over 18 years old at the start of the course.
