The Generalitat Firefighters have carried out several interventions over the weekend in the Alt Urgell and Cerdanya regions, including mountain rescues and emergency support.

Throughout Saturday, emergency teams responded to various incidents. At midday, a woman sustained a back injury after slipping in a gully in the Cadí, within the municipality of Montellà i Martinet. She was immobilized and airlifted to the hospital in La Seu d'Urgell, with a prognosis of a less serious injury.
In the afternoon, in Ger, GRAE firefighters had to rescue a cyclist who had an accident on a path at an altitude of 1,500 meters. The cyclist was evacuated by helicopter to the hospital in Puigcerdà.
In Alt Urgell, specifically in La Josa i Tuixén, six people got lost on Saturday afternoon in the Prat Llong area. The group changed their route to avoid a snowy section but ended up in an inaccessible spot. Two fire department units located them and guided them along safe paths to return.
