Minister Sílvia Paneque inaugurated the renovated Niu de l'Àliga refuge in La Molina this Friday, marking a milestone in a historic winter season for the Catalan Pyrenees.

The project, located at the summit of La Tosa, has transformed the 1966 building into a modern, eco-friendly facility. Capacity has increased to 72 beds, and the design features innovative thermal insulation inspired by beehive structures to minimize environmental impact within the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park.

"The transformation of Catalonia includes the sustainable development of the Pyrenees."
