The Llívia Town Council has issued a warning to residents advising them not to consume tap water for drinking or cooking, due to ongoing repair work on the roof of the Cereja reservoir.

Repair and replacement work on the roof of the Cereja water reservoir is nearing completion, as reported by the managing company Veolia. The work is expected to conclude this Wednesday, after which analyses will be conducted to confirm that the presence of disinfection by-products in the water has returned to normal levels.
In the meantime, the Llívia council has recommended that residents refrain from using tap water for drinking, food preparation, or cooking. However, the water can still be used without issue for other purposes such as personal hygiene, washing clothes, or dishes.
Due to the repair tasks at the reservoir, the water supply to the upper part of Llívia, specifically for residents in La Colomina and Julia Lybica, will be drawn from the Gorguja reservoir. This may affect water pressure while the works are ongoing.
The Town Council has apologized for any inconvenience caused and expressed gratitude for the residents' understanding and cooperation during this period.
