Snowboarder Nora Cornell, who trained in Puigcerdà and la Molina, has made her debut at the Milan and Cortina Winter Olympics following a life-threatening incident with fentanyl.

The young athlete finished 26th in the big air event on Sunday. Cornell made headlines by revealing that last year she suffered a severe reaction to fentanyl administered in a hospital while being treated for a collapsed lung and a broken finger.

"I had a bad reaction and there were complications. I don't remember it well because I was semi-unconscious. Luckily I was in the hospital."
