Mayor Joan Manel Serra and City Councilor Mercè Carbó highlighted the high demand for the event. All 600 tickets were sold within hours, confirming the festival's status as a key economic and tourism driver for the Cerdanya region.
“"This milestone reflects the role the festival plays as a showcase for Cerdanya cuisine and as a driver for economic and tourism promotion for the entire region."
The menu will focus on KM0 local products, featuring winter cabbage, 'trumfes' (potatoes), local cheeses, and cold meats. The main dish, trinxat de Cerdanya, is a traditional recipe made with local ingredients that gain their unique flavor from the freezing winter nights in the mountains.
The event is organized in collaboration with Cuina Pirinenca de Cerdanya, local restaurants, and students from INS Pere Borrell. The night will end with live music from the Orquestra Montecarlo, celebrating the local identity through food and tradition.
