The incident, which occurred on Rita Casamitjana street, was noticed by residents who alerted emergency services after observing smoke emanating from the premises.

Around 5:40 PM, firefighters arrived at the scene and confirmed that the smoke originated from wood burning directly behind the sports center's biomass boiler.

Fortunately, the fire was quickly brought under control, and no injuries from smoke inhalation or significant structural damage to the facility were reported. After extinguishing the flames, personnel thoroughly inspected the site to ensure safety before departing.
