Caritas in l'Espluga de Francolí has launched an urgent appeal to find a privately-owned space in the town center to house its food bank and the Filigrana social clothing project.

The charity was forced to vacate its previous headquarters in September after the building was diagnosed with aluminosis. While the City Council provided a temporary small space on Font Street, it is insufficient to maintain all services, leaving the clothing bank currently closed.
Due to local budget constraints and the Parish's existing debts, paying for a commercial lease is not an option. Caritas is asking for a rent-free agreement, committing only to cover utility costs like water and electricity to ensure all funds go directly to vulnerable families.
