The town of Montblanc is preparing to host the third edition of the Àuria Festival, a music event dedicated to Catalan-language artists. This year, the festival will take place on June 20 and 21 and comes with significant changes, including a venue change and a more condensed format.
The festival is moving from the Muralla de Santa Tecla parking lot to the Plaça de la Serra. This decision aims to foster a closer and more comfortable atmosphere for attendees, with a limited capacity of 500 people. The organization seeks to enhance Àuria's intimate character and improve the live concert experience.
This edition's lineup blends established artists with unique proposals and local talent. Headlining the event will be Obeses, known for their powerful stage presence and unconventional musical style. Judit Neddermann, a prominent voice in today's Catalan music scene, will also perform, bringing sensitivity and her own distinct artistic journey.
One of the highlights will be a special collaboration between Anna d’Ivori and the Cobla Maricel, a unique performance for the weekend. The program also includes groups like In Crescendo, recognized for their participation in TV3's 'Oh Happy Day', as well as Dona del Sac and Celobert. The regional touch will be provided by DJ Tòlia from l'Espluga de Francolí.
In addition to the concerts, the Àuria Festival will feature a wine area, food trucks, DJ sets, and complementary activities. The children's babysitting service will also be maintained, an initiative that helps the festival appeal to families.
