L'Espluga de Francolí tenders digitization of its drinking water network

The L'Espluga de Francolí City Council has initiated the tender process for the comprehensive digitization of the municipal drinking water network management system, aiming to modernize its control and optimization.

The project, named “Digitization of the municipal drinking water network management system,” includes the replacement of 809 subscriber meters with equipment featuring LoRaWAN technology for data transmission. Additionally, a communication network with three concentrators will be installed to significantly improve management and consumption monitoring.
The total investment planned for this initiative amounts to 93,172.98 euros (plus VAT). Of this amount, 88,881.33 euros will be financed through a grant from the Catalan Water Agency (ACA), with the remaining balance covered by the municipal budget.
Interested companies have until May 24, 2026, at 11:59 PM to submit their bids. This deadline is stipulated in the official tender documents published on the municipal portal.
