The Nativity Museum of Catalonia, located in Montblanc, has become the first museum in the country to integrate the NaviLens system to assist visitors with sensory disabilities.

This innovation, active since early 2025, allows visitors to access detailed information about the exhibits using high-visibility color codes. The mobile app translates content into 38 languages in both text and audio formats, effectively removing linguistic and visual barriers for international tourists.

"It is a tool designed for everyone. It breaks sensory and also language barriers."

Ismael Porta · Museum Director
Beyond digital tools, the museum has installed a magnetic loop at the reception desk to aid those with hearing impairments. Additionally, tactile figures and dioramas have been introduced, allowing blind visitors to explore the volumes and textures of the nativity scenes through touch.
