The company Energies Renovables Terra Ferma has secured final approval to build the La Romiguera and Montblanc solar parks in the Conca de Barberà region, delivering 16 megawatts of power.

The project spans 40 hectares situated between the AP-2 highway and the high-speed rail line. Most of the land is owned by CIMALSA. The facility will utilize an agrivoltaic model, allowing solar panels to coexist with traditional dryland crops, ensuring the land remains productive for agriculture.
The Montblanc City Council originally challenged the plan, arguing the site should be reserved for future industrial expansion. However, following the Generalitat's endorsement, local authorities were required to grant the building permits to allow construction to proceed.
