The town of Santa Coloma de Queralt celebrated the 4th Meeting of Female Figures this Sunday, March 8th, bringing together eight traditional giant-carrying groups from across Catalonia.

A highlight of the event was the historic appearance of all four local female giants together for the first time. The figures Coloma, Dolça Blancasol, Magdalena, and Colometa shared the stage after years of being separated due to restoration works or maintenance issues.
Participating groups traveled from locations including Ivars d'Urgell, La Seu d'Urgell, and El Masnou. The event was hosted and energized by Ofèlia Drags, who acted as the master of ceremonies during the parade through the historic streets of the municipality.
The celebration also marked International Women's Day with a public reading of a manifesto by the Associació de Dones Colomines. The day concluded with traditional dances and institutional speeches at the Plaça Major.
