The town of Santa Coloma de Queralt is preparing for the 4th Female Giant Figures Gathering on Sunday, March 8th, an event coinciding with International Women's Day celebrations.

Organized by the local Colla de Geganters, the meeting will bring together eight groups and approximately 200 participants. The activities start at 11:00 AM at the Passeig de la Muralla, followed by a traditional parade through the historic center of this Conca de Barberà village.
This year's main novelty is the participation of drag queen Ofèlia Drags, who will serve as the official host. Later in the afternoon, she will perform the show Sis. Les dones de Jaume I at the L'Estrella Theater at 5:30 PM, adding a contemporary artistic touch to the traditional festivities.
The institutional act includes the reading of the 8M manifesto by the Associació de Dones Colomines at 1:00 PM. The gathering will conclude with final traditional dances, highlighting the role of female figures in Catalan folklore and the ongoing struggle for gender equality.
