The municipality of Sarral, in the Conca de Barberà region, was finally able to celebrate the Tres Tombs de Sant Antoni and the Festa dels Quintos on Saturday, February 7, after heavy rains forced the parade to be postponed on two previous occasions.

The festival, traditionally linked to the young men turning 18, was initially scheduled for January 17 and then January 24. The organization, supported by the City Council (Ajuntament), had to find a third date to ensure the continuity of the cultural event.
This year, the young people born in 2008 who were supposed to be the protagonists were unavailable for the organization. To prevent the tradition from being lost, former 'quintes', especially those celebrating their 25th anniversary, took the initiative to carry out the celebration.
The parade was held in its usual format, although without the float of the current 'quintos'. There was a float featuring the 'quintos' from 25 years ago, who recreated the route they took when they turned 18, filling the streets with color and confetti.
The celebration, which started at eleven in the morning from the Passeig del VIIIè Centenari, included the traditional three laps around the town. During the third lap, near the school, the 'quintos' from 25 years ago started the traditional candy war, one of the most anticipated moments.
