The town of Vimbodí i Poblet will host the tenth edition of the Potau-Campdesuñer Quick Painting Contest on May 30th, 2026, turning the Conca de Barberà region into an open-air art studio.

Artists will gather to capture local landmarks such as the Poblet Monastery and the Plaça Major. The event honors the legacy of local painters Joan Potau and Adrià Campdesuñer, allowing participants total freedom of technique and style to portray the essence of the municipality.
This year's competition introduces new prizes for children under 12 and teenagers aged 13 to 17. The main awards include cash prizes of 700, 500, and 300 euros, alongside the Vila Vidriera special prize, which celebrates the town's historic glass-making tradition.
Registration is free for all participants. While artists can sign up on the day of the event, the Vimbodí i Poblet local council recommends pre-registering via email to ensure smooth organization during the creative day.
