Free tolls extended on C-32 highway at Vallcarca and Cubelles southbound

The exceptional measure remains in place to provide a mobility alternative during the ongoing repair works on the AP-7 motorway.

The Catalan Government will maintain free tolls on the C-32 main plazas at Vallcarca and Cubelles southbound starting this Saturday to mitigate the impact of the AP-7 closure.

This exceptional measure applies exclusively to the main toll plazas of Vallcarca and Cubelles in the southbound direction, and will remain in force as long as the AP-7 closure between Martorell and Vilafranca del Penedès continues. This disruption is due to repair work on the motorway following a wall collapse over the R4 railway line in Gelida.
The remaining C-32 barriers will return to normal operation starting at 00:00 hours this Saturday. Thus, the Cubelles access, Calafell access, Cubelles northbound, and Vallcarca northbound tolls will resume normal charging.

The Government considers the C-32 a key alternative route to absorb part of the traffic diverted from the AP-7.

In parallel, the Generalitat confirmed that all usual C-32 discounts remain valid, including free passage on the Ronda del Penedès, mandatory mobility bonuses, and discounts for zero and low-emission vehicles.
