The events, which began with an argument between young people at 04:28 AM, led to public order issues and damage to public property. By the time the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police) arrived, the groups had dispersed, and there were no injuries or arrests.
As a consequence of the incidents, the dances and traditional figures of the Sant Bartomeu Morning Parade started at 07:15 AM from the City Hall. The route was adapted through the town's streets, passing through Baluard, Fonollar, Baluard Vidal Quadras, Port de n’Alegre, Rafel Llopart, Sant Damià, Sant Sebastià, Jesús, Cap de la Vila, and Major, before returning to the City Hall square.
“"The incidents will not stop the celebration of the main festival."
Despite condemning the events, the council assured that these incidents will not prevent the continuation of the main festival.
