This strategic integration aims to preserve the figure of Eduard Toldrà across all his creative dimensions. The new unified entity will take over the direct management of the Camerata Eduard Toldrà, an ensemble originally founded as the Garraf Chamber Orchestra.
The Barcelona-based entity, founded in 2009, had previously focused on academic research and score revision. Meanwhile, the Vilanova association, active since 1985, focused on musical outreach and managing professional ensembles in the Garraf region.
The merger will be officially showcased on Sunday, March 1st, at the Auditori, featuring a concert by the Camerata conducted by Antoni Ros Marbà, who serves as the honorary president of the new organization.
