The celebration involves the collaboration of the Department of Traditions and Festivals, the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Les Botigues de Sitges, and other local entities. The highlight of the festival will take place during the weekend of September 4, 5, and 6.
This year's opening speech will be delivered by Guillem Pujadas, president of AE Les Botigues de Sitges, representing the futsal team that has achieved promotion to the Preferent category, and by Ramon Pardo, president of the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Les Botigues de Sitges.
From Monday, August 31, to Friday, September 4, various sports competitions will be held, including tournaments in paddle tennis, beach volleyball, beach tennis, ping pong, and 3x3 basketball. The finals will be played on Saturday and Sunday.
Starting Friday evening, the main activities will commence with a street band, batucada, a popular dinner, and an improvisation show. The night will continue with live music by Shaka Social Club.
On Saturday morning, there will be a drawing and painting contest in the Eucaliptus park and a Foam Party. In the afternoon, a chess tournament and a dance evening with salsa and bachata music will take place. The main concert of the night will be by Compay del Río.
Sunday morning features a yoga class, a storytelling session, and the Holyfest, a festival of colors. The celebration will conclude in the afternoon with the awards ceremony, a concert by Mala Vida, and a party with Argentine gastronomy and music.
