The campaign will run from 5 PM to 9 PM, between Víctor Balaguer street and Camí dels Capellans avenue. All healthy individuals between 18 and 70 years old, weighing over 50 kilograms, can approach the designated bus to make their blood and plasma donation.
Interested individuals can go directly to the bus or book an appointment in advance through the Blood and Tissue Bank website. In August, 20 people donated blood in a similar campaign, benefiting 60 patients. The bank requires 1,100 daily donations, as platelets expire after five days.
To be eligible to donate blood, one must meet the aforementioned age and weight requirements. Donations are possible even with high cholesterol or while taking common medications. Fasting is not required, but an official identification document must be presented. A minimum of three months must pass between donations, with a maximum of four donations per year for men and three for women.
