Following the pilot test conducted on Jaume I El Conqueridor street, significant traffic jams have been detected at certain times of the day in the final section of Manlleu street, specifically between J. Jaume I and Ronda Camprodon.
This situation causes vehicles to constantly emit fumes, making the air unbreathable for pedestrians. Given the concerning air quality in the city, the City Council is urged to consider this issue, as it severely hinders pedestrian access.
Residents who regularly walk are negatively impacted by this problem. The local administration is encouraged to consider new measures to further restrict car access on this street, in line with actions already taken on other city roads to promote sustainable mobility.
