The event, which took place between July 31st and August 12th at the Jardins de Terramar, filled almost all available seats, reaching 23,800 attendees out of a total of 28,000 offered spots.
Joan Ramon Rodríguez, co-director of the festival, has highly praised these results, highlighting the festival's strength and the audience's loyalty. This figure marks a turning point towards the celebration of the festival's tenth anniversary in 2027.
Rodríguez emphasized the success of several programming nights, with four concerts completely sold out: those by Sergio Dalma, Joan Dausà, Earth, Wind & Fire Experience by Al McKay, and the show This Is Michael. Additionally, the opening concert by Sílvia Pérez Cruz exceeded 90% occupancy, demonstrating Terramar's consolidation in the summer music scene and the diversity of its lineup, with a strong focus on Catalan artists.
The festival featured a mix of established musical careers, international productions, and notable anniversaries. Besides the sold-out concerts, the lineup included performances by artists such as Ara Malikian, Rosana, Els Amics de les Arts, Ginestà, Rosario, Sopa de Cabra, and God Save The Queen. Performing arts were also represented with Quim Masferrer's show Bona Gent.
The festival's closing act was performed by God Save The Queen, celebrating a world tour commemorating the 40th anniversary of Queen's last concert with Freddie Mercury. The performance revisited the band's greatest hits, marking the end of twelve nights of music and shows.
In parallel, the Cicle Imprescindibles, organized by the Culture Department of the Sitges City Council, showcased local and regional talent from the stage located in the Village. The final night featured a performance by Lucía Durán and pianist Gerard Ibáñez.
The commitment to the region was also reflected in a solidarity initiative: 0.50 euros from each ticket sold will be donated to the Fundació Ave Maria, which supports adults with intellectual disabilities, and to Nits de la Lluna Plena Sitges, raising funds for childhood cancer research at the Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona Hospital.
The ninth edition was supported primarily by CaixaBank, reaffirming its commitment to promoting cultural activities and boosting the region's economy.
