The Federació d'Associacions pel Carnaval (FAC) in Vilanova i la Geltrú is preparing disciplinary measures following acts of vandalism during the Comparses celebration on February 15.

The federation is currently gathering evidence regarding damage to private vehicles and street furniture. They also highlighted that some groups ignored police instructions to avoid the train station area, where a security perimeter had been established.
Proposed sanctions also target other violations, including alcohol consumption on floats during the Arrivo parade, the unauthorized use of fireworks, and the lack of supervisors during the main events at Plaça de la Vila.
The Agrupació de Balls Populars has officially condemned the behavior of some of its members. The final decision on these sanctions will be made during the next general assembly in Vilanova i la Geltrú after the festivities conclude.
