The company awarded the contract for the renovation and structural consolidation of the El Vinyet municipal building in Mas Mestre has carried out its first technical site visit. The work is set to commence in approximately two weeks.
During the visit, project managers assessed the building's current condition and characteristics to prepare for future interventions. The primary objective is to renovate and consolidate the structural elements, which show damage to the concrete and steel beams, partly due to water infiltration from the roof.
This municipal facility, located on Carrer de l'Àliga and covering 321 m², will be restored to host new social and cultural activities. It includes multipurpose spaces, meeting rooms, bathrooms, and storage areas.
With this initial visit, the project moves into the pre-execution phase. The Olivella City Council continues its efforts to recover a space that, once renovated, will offer a new service to the community.
The total execution budget for the updated project amounts to 643,074.74 euros, including VAT, and will be carried out in three phases.
