The initiative aims to utilize municipal natural resources, foster the participation of the associative fabric, and promote citizen collaboration in the care of public spaces. Legally constituted local associations, non-profit and with a base or activity in the municipality, are eligible to participate.
The object of the call is the collection of olives from olive trees located in urban parks and other public spaces designated by the Town Council. Interested entities must submit a generic application to the Town Council, indicating the entity's name, the responsible person, and the approximate number of participants.
The Town Council will assign collection areas based on olive availability and the number of applications received. Collection must take place within the authorized period and hours, respecting the trees, facilities, and urban furniture. Cutting branches or damaging trees will not be permitted, and collection will be done manually with safety measures.
The collected olives will be for the use of the authorized association, with no possibility of commercialization for profit. Participation is conditional on the express authorization of the Town Council.
The deadline for submitting applications to the municipal registry is November 8. Submission of an application implies acceptance of the terms and conditions.
