The municipality of Juneda, located in the Garrigues region, currently has forty registered associations, a figure that positions it as one of the most dynamic hubs in the Lleida plains.

With a population of 3,400 residents, the town boasts a very high ratio of community organizations. According to municipal officials, this vitality stems from a deep-rooted tradition where participation in social, cultural, and sporting groups is passed from parents to children. Among the oldest organizations is the choir Els Cantaires, founded in 1927, which is the only all-male choir in the Ponent region.

"The entire population is involved in one thing or another. Young people follow in the footsteps of their parents and grandparents in existing organizations."

The cultural sphere is a cornerstone of the village, featuring landmarks such as the Agrupació Sardanista, active since 1943, or the Associació Cultural Fonoll, which has published the local magazine for over four decades. Social initiatives also stand out, such as Talma, dedicated to the inclusion of people with special needs, or the Diables Els Rojos group, which has kept the fire-run tradition alive since 2006.
On the sporting side, the Club Hoquei Juneda and the Tennis Club, founded in 1969, coexist with newer entities like the Colla Ciclista la Pedalada, which now has over 200 members. This diversity is rounded out by modern groups such as the LGTBI+ association Histèriques, created in 2020, proving that the town continues to renew its commitment to community life.
