The town of Besalú is preparing to become the final setting for the filming of a Rapunzel movie adaptation, after the crew completed recording tasks in Santes Creus.

The filming, which has transformed various spaces into a medieval market, will move to the Garrotxa region starting July 20. This production involved approximately 900 people during the weeks of work at the previous location.
Production tasks have led to access restrictions for both vehicles and pedestrians around the monument used as a set. Additionally, the production company has rented several local spaces to provide services to the technical and artistic team.
After finishing the recordings in Besalú, the process of dismantling the sets and facilities is expected to take place during the week following the end of the filming activity.
