Olot carnival groups shine at the massive Platja d'Aro parade

The Grand Float and Troupe Parade brought together over 5,000 participants and tens of thousands of spectators this Saturday in Platja d'Aro, highlighting the talent of Garrotxa groups.

With 68 groups competing, the parade showcased elaborate costumes and choreography. Olot based groups stood out, with La Quarta Paret winning first prize in the Troupe category, proving the high artistic level of the local carnival tradition.
In the Large Float category, La Carnavalesca d'Olot i Castellfollit de la Roca took second place. The event concluded at the Palau d'Esports i Congressos with an awards ceremony distributing 11,000 euros in prizes, cementing the town's status as a Costa Brava carnival leader.
