The Firal in Olot was filled with nearly seventy stalls selling books and roses, marking a milestone in the celebration of Sant Jordi in the capital of La Garrotxa. This edition stood out for the fusion of the day with the Sismògraf dance festival, which added an artistic touch to the event.
The collaboration between both events included proposals such as the 'Visita ballada' (Danced Visit), which combined reading with movement, and the 'Lleixa de la Dansa' (Dance Shelf), a space dedicated to books on this discipline, both activities held at the Marià Vayreda library.
“"We cannot fight against such a big dragon, but we can ally with it, which is somewhat what we have done."
This initiative has enriched the celebration of Sant Jordi, offering visitors a broader and more diversified cultural experience, where literature and dance have coexisted in harmony.
