The city of Olot experienced a different Sant Jordi day, where the tradition of roses and books was united for the first time with the dance of the Sismògraf festival, offering an innovative cultural program.

The Firal in Olot was filled with nearly seventy stalls selling books and roses, marking a milestone in the celebration of Sant Jordi in the capital of La Garrotxa. This edition stood out for the fusion of the day with the Sismògraf dance festival, which added an artistic touch to the event.
The collaboration between both events included proposals such as the 'Visita ballada' (Danced Visit), which combined reading with movement, and the 'Lleixa de la Dansa' (Dance Shelf), a space dedicated to books on this discipline, both activities held at the Marià Vayreda library.

"We cannot fight against such a big dragon, but we can ally with it, which is somewhat what we have done."
