The environmental education activity program for the protected natural areas of Garrotxa, named Visites amb Valors (Visits with Values), is launching its first summer activity. The proposal involves an excursion to explore the effusive volcanism of Sant Joan les Fonts, tracing the path of the municipality's three lava flows.
This activity offers a unique opportunity to delve into the geological significance of this natural site. The event will take place on Saturday, July 18th, at 6:30 PM, starting at the information center of Ca l’Esquirolet.
The excursion is expected to last approximately 3 hours. Attendees are advised to wear suitable walking shoes and bring water. The activity is free of charge but requires mandatory prior registration via the QR code or the link provided.
