Cogolls celebrates its Festival with Havaneres and Popular Rice Dish

Following this, at 7:00 PM, a danced tribute to the poet Mercè Bayona will be held, as part of the magmàtica festival, with the participation of Adrián R. Paredes. Saturday's events will conclude with the presentation of the 'cuques de llum' of Cogolls at 7:30 PM, followed by a dance and a parade featuring these figures.
The next day, Sunday, October 11th, the festivities will commence at 8:00 AM with a popular walk. At 12:30 PM, mass will be celebrated, accompanied by the choir Retorn Planenc. The traditional communal rice dish will be served at 2:00 PM, followed at 3:30 PM by a performance from the children's group La Tresca i la Verdesca.
The festival will conclude at 5:00 PM with a sardanes music performance by the cobla band Aires de la Terra.
