Under the slogan «Vote and decide! 50,000 € in your hands!», residents of the municipality have until October 25th to choose the projects they consider most necessary. Voting can be done electronically via the website participa.bescano.cat or in person by depositing a ballot in the designated ballot boxes at various municipal facilities.
In-person voting points include the Bescanó City Council, the Library, the Seniors' Center (Casal d’Avis), the Football Field, the Multipurpose Hall March 8th (Sala Polivalent 8 de març), the social centers of Vilanna, Estanyol, Montfullà, and Mas Llunès, as well as the La Miquela Institute.
Mayor Xavier Vinyoles highlighted the importance of this initiative for citizen participation: «Participatory budgets allow residents to directly decide on a portion of municipal investments. They are an opportunity to explain which improvements they consider most necessary and contribute to making them a reality».
Vinyoles encouraged citizens to actively participate in the final voting days, emphasizing that «Every vote helps define the municipality's priorities. We invite everyone to learn about the finalist proposals and participate, because we want this decision to reflect the voice of as many people as possible».
