The action, which has a total cost of 137,792.51 euros (VAT included), focuses on redefining the junction to facilitate entry and exit for the Matamala neighborhood and on beautifying the access to the town, especially in the northern section, in front of the former Inecsa factory.
The project includes the installation of a traffic island to facilitate entry and exit for the Matamala neighborhood and the redefinition of the bike lane with new signage and protection.
One of the main improvements focuses on the bike lane, which will be redefined and will incorporate new signage and specific protection systems. This modification will simultaneously allow for the widening of the two traffic lanes, increasing overall road safety.
The project also includes replacing the old concrete barriers (New Jersey type) with a continuous mixed steel and wood barrier (biona type), as well as installing a metallic fence for cyclist protection near the stream. Furthermore, the width of the roadway will be increased and the pavement improved.
