Bàsquet Girona suffered an 83-90 home defeat against Unicaja Málaga this Sunday at Fontajau, as injuries and a clinical visiting performance proved decisive in the ACB clash.

Missing key players like Sergi Martínez and Juan Fernández, Moncho Fernández's side struggled early on. A 0-14 run by Unicaja in the first quarter gave the visitors a lead they would maintain through dominant rebounding and efficient shooting.
Otis Livingston led the local resistance with 20 points and 10 assists. Although Girona managed to cut the deficit to just three points in the second half, James Webb and Tyler Kalinoski regained control for the league leaders to secure the win.
The match also saw the first-team debuts of Khory Rosembert and Enric Sanmartín from the U22 squad, providing a silver lining on a tough afternoon for the Girona faithful.
