The material, including medico-surgical supplies such as gowns, masks, and sutures, as well as basic food items, infant nutrition products, and hygiene articles, was collected last week at the College of Physicians. ASOVERGI is managing the shipment to the affected areas.
Among the medical items are gowns, FFP2 masks, gloves, sutures, overalls, waterproof gowns, boots, protective goggles, surgical drapes, and first-aid supplies. The food provisions include rice, pasta, legumes, canned goods, soups, milk, and special nutrition products. Diapers, wet wipes, towels, and shampoo have also been received. Additionally, diapers of various sizes, sheets, and bed linen were collected.
The COMG has expressed deep gratitude for the solidarity shown by all individuals, institutions, and entities that collaborated in this initiative. For future material donations, interested parties can contact the COMG, which will put them in touch with ASOVERGI for coordination.
