The Empordà Music Festival in La Bisbal d'Empordà kicks off its fifth edition this weekend with two major nights featuring renowned artists such as Joan Dausà, Els Pets, La Fúmiga, Buhos, and La Gossa Sorda. The festival has broken an attendance record, with over 8,500 tickets sold for the two concert days.
The first day, starting today, is almost sold out and will feature performances by La Gossa Sorda, Joan Dausà, La Pegatina, The Tyets, Nena Daconte, Greta, and Sergi Carbonell. Tomorrow, Saturday, the lineup includes Nil Moliner, La Fúmiga, Figa Flawas, Els Pets, Buhos, Ginestà, and Malifeta.
In addition to the musical program, the foodtruck area has been expanded, and a payment system using prepaid wristbands will be implemented. In a different format from previous years, the festival held its free XS event in June, featuring artists like Aina Reig, Miquel Abras, and Idilia.
