The awards ceremony will take place at the Palau de Fires de Girona, aiming to honor outstanding achievements by individuals and companies in the local food and wine sector. The jury has spent recent weeks evaluating candidates across nine distinct categories, including production, innovation, and service.
The jury features prominent figures such as sommelier Toni Gerez from Castell Perelada, chef Iolanda Bustos, and oenologist Anna Vicens. They are joined by Pep Nogué, Venanci Grau, Jordi Garcia, and journalist Alfons Petit to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of the industry.
Categories range from the Producer Award to the Career Achievement Award, covering wineries, restaurants, and young professionals. The winners of this first edition will be officially announced on March 8th.
