The basketball club Bàsquet Girona has incorporated its main sponsor, FIATC, into the men's team's denomination for the first time. From now on, the team will compete as FIATC Girona, a decision that coincides with the squad's continental debut.
The sponsorship agreement will last for three seasons, with an option to extend for an additional season. This partnership strengthens the existing relationship between the company and the club, which dates back to when Bàsquet Girona competed in LEB Plata.

The club's president indicated that the decision to name the men's first team was considered after integrating the women's team, which already features Spar Girona. "It was a natural step," he stated, highlighting that the economic impact brings the club closer to its sustainability goal, although the value of the agreement goes beyond that.
Players such as Queralt Casas and Maxi Fjellerup attended the agreement's presentation.
