The Generalitat Firefighters have carried out 52 services related to strong winds this Monday morning, with a significant concentration in the Girona regions, although no incident has been serious.

Between 7 AM and 2 PM this Monday, the emergency services had to intervene on more than fifty occasions due to strong wind gusts. Most of these operations, specifically 42, were registered in the Girona Emergency Region, which includes the Girona counties.
The incidents have been varied, including fallen trees, electrical cables, signs, and structural problems in facades. Despite the high number of calls, the Firefighters have confirmed that none of the incidents posed a serious situation.
In addition to the morning services, seven additional alerts related to the storm were received on Sunday night. From 8 PM on Saturday until 7 AM on Monday, the total number of services across the Catalan territory has risen to 785.
The weather forecast indicates that the wind will continue to affect Catalonia, especially the southern third and the Ponent area, between this Monday evening and early morning. Civil Protection maintains the Special Plan for Windstorm Risk in Catalonia (VENTCAT) on alert.
Wind gusts exceeding 90 km/h are expected until Wednesday, with particular impact in the Pyrenees and the Empordà. Caution is advised in mountain areas due to the risk of blizzards.
